Pacas & Pinot
Two hours in the pasture with the alpacas, learning about their fiber, and enjoying a glass (or two) of local pinot.
Surround yourself with alpacas at Springtime Farms in Salem, OR. We'll head out to the pasture at 5 p.m. to meet the herd. We will provide chairs and blankets to sit on and two glasses of pinot per person. Feel free to bring your own chair, if you'd like.
Owner, Meredith Kuhl, will walk you through the basics of alpacas and their fiber, including how to card, felt, and spin. Get your hands on the luscious fiber as it was sheared right off the animal.
Spend as long as two hours at the farm.
Alpacas are quite clean creatures, however, please wear farm appropriate shoes.
Each Pacas & Pinot is limited to 20 people. Please pay ahead of time to reserve your space.
